Cosmetic tattoo before care:
• No caffeine (coffee, soda, tea, etc.) aspirin or alcohol for 24 HOURS before your appointment. This will cause excessive bleeding and make it hard for me to work which will result to rescheduling your appointment.
• Do not take fish oil, vitamin E, or Ibuprofen 24 hours before treatment.
• Do not have waxing treatments a week before your procedure.
• No chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro needling, or any other intense treatment that will cause skin to rejuvenate faster.
• Laser hair removal and botox should only be done atleast 3 weeks before your appointment.
• DO NOT discontinue any medication with out consulting your doctor.
•Do NOT use any form of Retinol, Renova, Alpha Hydroxy and Glycolic Acid skincare products close to area 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
• If you notice a pimple on your brow/lip area, PLEASE let us know as soon as possible that way we can reschedule you to another date.
LIP BLUSH CLIENTS:
You should not receive Lip Blush if you have or have recently had -
* Rashes around the lip area
* Lip Filler (4 weeks prior)
* If you're prone to cold sores, take an anti-viral RX by your Dr. (VALTREX) or an over the counter supplement (LYSINE.) Take the supplement for 1 week prior to your appointment.
Pro-Tip: If you have dry/chapped lips the day of your appointment the pigment will not hold. We recommend gently exfoliating a few days prior to your procedure (This can be made at home using brown sugar and honey.) After exfoliating your lips, moisturize your lips with your favorite lip balm! It’s important to keep your lips moisturized for best results.
If any of the following apply to you, you are NOT a good candidate for Freckle Tattooing:
Tanning/Tanning Beds: Any prolonged UV exposure can and will change the color of your freckle tattoos (most often to a dark grey color). You MUST discontinue all excessive tanning if you want to go through with this tattoo procedure.
Use of active skincare products: Skincare products such as Retinol that are lightening, brightening or anti-aging can and will make your freckles fade faster. In some cases, the color of the faux freckles can change in tone as well.
Microneedling/ Most Facials/ and Laser Treatments will rapidly fade your freckles and are not recommended. If you are to receive laser treatment, please notify your laser technician as most lasers can and will turn the freckle ink black.
Accutane: If you have taken Accutane, you must be at least 6 months post prescription completion to proceed with this tattoo service. If you plan on taking Accutane in the future, it will make your freckles fade and potentially adjust the color of the faux freckles as well.
